Recycling Dress

Remember the days when your fountain pen leaked inside of your shirt pocket? Well designer Fernando Brizio has invented a dress using the same principle. Coloured felt-pens are inserted into the pockets of the dress where the ink is allowed to bleed into the cloth to create circular patterns. When you get bored wash it out and start all over again. Brilliant!

Switchital Clock

The Switchital Clock designed by Matthias Pugin uses an unconventional digital screen where the numbers are formed from small metal bars which are repositioned by magnets in a ballet display.

Ink Calendar

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the most beautiful. Here, Oscar Diaz has created a calendar that uses the natural capillary absorption of ink on paper to print out the days of the month. Stunning.

Zimtstern: Snowboarding on leaves

The video 'Leaves' by Marco Lutz for Zimtstern TV illustrates perfectly the instincts of all boarders to search out new paths to follow in anticipation of the snow to come. Simply beautiful.

iPhone Travels: Fiat's big smile

The Big Smile is a festival celebrating the launch of the new Fiat 500C with a 5:1 scaled up model. Passersby will be encouraged to come inside and enjoy the garden deckchairs whilst watching the entertainers. You can see the model on London's busy Oxford Street from the 28th August to 2nd September.

Disturbingly cute pretty much sums up the artwork of Luke Chueh. His paintings depicts his alter-ego bear and dark humour to tell stories, mostly unfortunate, of a particular moment.

iPhone Bites: LMNT

Queensbridge Road isn't really the first place you'd go looking for a bite to eat, but this unusual venue is worth the visit for it's decor alone. Think abandoned Cleopatra Hollywood film set, and you pretty much have an idea of this crazy but fun place. The experimental European food is equally as eclectic with starters such as moules in curry, beer and cream sauce, which worked quite well surprisingly. Though what this has to do with Egypt is anyone's guess. You'll also be forgiven for taking a little too long in the restrooms for admiring the exotic art.
