iPhone Travels: St. Pancras Champagne Bar

St Pancras

Sipping at my flute in Europe's longest champagne bar, I found myself marvelling at the view of the stunning Victorian Gothic architecture at St. Pancras International, Eurostar's latest London terminal.

The Barlow Shed was named after William Barlow, the Chief Engineer of The Midland Railway Company. The £800 million restoration includes an arched roof, one of the biggest of it's kind, stretching 210m, rising up to 30m, and spanning 74m, holding the record for the largest enclosed space in it's day.

iPhone Travels: Indecent proposal

The Bistrotheque

After eating a delicious meal at The Bistrotheque in deepest Hackney, I finally had to excuse myself and head down to the toilets where I found a rather unusual proposal displayed above the urinal. Unfortunately, they forgot to leave a phone number.
