Termesphere

Ok, if you can put up with his droning voice, these videos are worth watching purely for the 3D illusions Dick Termes has created using a six point perspective system. The spheres seem to show a 3D world regardless of the viewing angle. The second video shows off the illusion more succinctly with an Escher painting. Clever stuff.

Art: A load of hot air

Street artist Joshua Allen Harris creates animated art using nothing more than plastic bags and the ventilation air coming out of the New York subway. It all started out as bit of fun but soon progressed from the original polar bear to larger pieces such as the giraffe and Loch Ness Monster. What looked like ordinary trash on the street would magically transform into life whenever a train went by.
